Filled with excitement about their realization that Jesus who had been crucified and placed into a tomb three days ago, was alive and had actually walked and talked with them, they were anxious to share this news with the disciples and others in Jerusalem. When they arrived where the disciples and others were staying, they were met with enthusiasm. When they shared that they had just seen Jesus, there was much rejoicing for this added to others that had seen Jesus. What started as a sad and gloomy day changed into joy and anticipation.
