The next morning, Jethro, the father-in-law of Moses that had come to visit, went along with Moses to his usual seat where he served as a judge for the people when there were disputes or questions about God’s will. People were lined up and standing around, waiting for their turn. This continued all day long.
At the end of the day, Jethro said, “You can’t continue this way. You’ll wear yourself and the people out. You need to get help.” [Reflection based on the Bible Reference – Exodus 18:13-26]
