Granted permission, by King Agrippa, to speak in his defense, Paul outlined his Jewish training, adherence to Jewish laws and his aggressive actions against followers of Jesus; until he was confronted by Heaven on his trip to Damascus. Thereafter, he simply remained obedient to the risen Jesus, now in Heaven. In a side conversation with Festus, Agrippa stated that but for Paul’s appeal to Caesar, he could have been set free.
