To make a point, Jesus told a story about a man who went to a neighbor’s house, late at night, requesting assistance. Through persistence, the man’s request was satisfied. With the image of this late night encounter in mind, Jesus reminds us that God is ready and willing to give us the gift that we need…His Holy Spirit.
