Pharaoh attempted to compromise God’s will by allowing only the men to go and worship God. When Moses didn’t agree to the compromise, Pharaoh drove Moses away. The locusts came and were in the homes and fields and everywhere. They devoured what little was left from the hailstorm. Pharaoh acknowledged his sin and ask Moses to pray that the locusts would be removed. When the locusts were gone, Pharaoh went back to refusing to let the Israelites go.
