God instructed Moses to confront Pharaoh in the morning, along the bank of the river Nile; and remind Pharaoh that he has not obeyed the will of God, by refusing to let the Israelites leave Egypt. As a result, the river Nile will be turned to blood, the fish will die, there will be a terrible smell and the people will not be able to drink the water. The water in all streams, ponds and vessels of wood and stone turned to blood. [Reflection based on the Bible Reference – Exodus 7:14-19]
