One afternoon, Peter and John were on their way to the temple when they were stopped by a lame man who was at the temple gate, begging as was his custom. Seeing the apostles, he asked them for money. But, led by the Spirit of God, Peter looked straight into the man’s eyes and said, “I don’t have any silver or gold; but, I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus of Nazareth, walk!” With that, he gave the man a hand and they walked into the temple. Some of them walked; but the man who had been lame was walking and jumping and praising God. [Reflection if based on the Bible Reference – Acts 3:1-8]
