Twelve ordinary men. Fishermen, Tax Collector, Physician and no religious leaders. These were the men Jesus chose to follow Him. To watch as He healed the sick, forgave sins and changed lives. Here are the names of the twelve: • Peter • James, the son of Zebedee • John • Andrew • Philip • Bartholomew • Thomas • Matthew • James, the son of Alphaeus • Thaddaeus • Simon, the Zealot • Judas Iscariot Over three years they watched Jesus as He healed people and preached about the kingdom of heaven. Their lives changed under His leadership and they would change even more following His death by crucifixion and His resurrection.
