I heard Jesus speak to a group of people; and when He said it was necessary to repent of my sins, I felt like He was looking at me. My sins were many and I wanted to be forgiven; and I wanted to change my life. I believed if I could talk to Jesus, He could tell me how.
Jesus was going to be at Simon’s house for dinner. I planned to slip in while they were eating. I took with me an alabaster jar of perfume, found Jesus at the far end of the table and I poured the perfume on His feet. I didn’t have a towel, so I used my hair to dry His feet.
I wasn’t looking around; but Jesus must have sensed that Simon didn’t like my being in his house; because He said to Simon He had something to say. He asked Simon a question about two men who owed a man money: one a large amount the other a small amount. Jesus wanted Simon to tell Him, after the moneylender forgave both debts, which loved him more. Simon replied, “The one who owed the greater amount.”
Jesus agreed and said He was aware of my many sins and request to be forgiven; and He said to me, “Your sins are forgiven.” I have a new life. [Story based on Bible Reference – Luke 7:36-48]
