An excerpt from "Answers In Genesis.org" entitled, "What If People Deny The Truth?" by Erik Lutz states: "In recent years, it has become common for people to simultaneously believe in two opposite ideas as being equally “true.” You have probably heard someone make a statement such as, “That might be true for you, but I have a different truth.” The problem with this type of statement is that it is based on a redefinition of “truth.” The foundation of logic—God’s unchanging Word—has been replaced in our modern culture with man’s opinions and this idea of relativism (i.e., truth depends on the individual).
Merriam-Webster’s dictionary defines truth as “the state of being the case.” In other words, if something is true then it cannot also be false, and vice versa—which agrees with Scripture because God (who is Truth) can’t deny Himself (2 Timothy 2:13). The laws of physics, mathematics, and logic all stem from truth—without which the world makes no sense." This article may be viewed at: What If People Deny The Truth?/answersingenesis.org
