Following the death of Hezekiah, Manasseh became king of Judah at twelve years of age. Rather than following in his father’s footsteps, Manasseh was just the opposite. He re-established pagan worship, he corrupted the temple and later he sacrificed one of his sons in the fire. In his lifetime, he was more evil than the Canaanites that were driven out of the land by God. [Reflection is based on the Bible Reference – 2 Kings 21:1-16]
