Naomi, consumed by her sorrow and grief over the death of her husband and two sons, was resigned to go back to her hometown. To her daughters-in-law, she advised them to stay in Moab and begin a new life.
One daughter-in-law, Ruth, refused to be separated. She said, “Where you go, I will go, and where you stay, I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God, will be my God.” [Reflection based on the Bible Reference – Ruth 1:15-16]
