During the years of building the ark, Noah was the object of ridicule from neighbors and passersby. In spite of the words and actions of others, Noah continued to follow God’s instructions. When construction was complete, he was instructed to store food for his family and the animals.
Then God said to Noah, “Take your family and go into the ark. In seven days the rain will begin.” Noah didn’t need to go and find the animals, God sent them to him. Noah simply needed to escort them to what would be their home for the next year. [Reflection based on the Bible Reference: Genesis 6:18-7:10]
