WHERE DO YOU DRINK?
A Tree Planted by the Water Bears Fruit in Every Season
James 3:17-18 “ But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness”
It is so important to stay soaked in God’s word, for when we do, our
actions take on Christ rather than our old selves.
It takes action on our part to become like Christ. We must drink daily
from the Word of God. We must spend time soaking in the truth of the truth of the Word of God in order to exhibit in our lives the attributes of heavenly wisdom.
Heavenly Father, enable your people to put aside the deeds of the flesh mentioned here in James: favoritism, the fire of an untamed tongue, faith without good deeds, and worldly wisdom. Give strength and time to drink daily from your Word. Enable your people to recognize Godly wisdom and live that out in this local body of Christ.
