SALT SHAKER YOUTH
“Let me tell you why you are here. You’re here to be salt-seasoning that brings the God-flavors of this earth.” Matthew 5:13
The past few months in youth group we’ve been talking about sharing our faith with friends. This is not an easy task because not everyone has the same beliefs as you and they are afraid of being questioned or judged. When you are at school it’s harder to talk about religion, but Jesus says we are to be the salt of the earth. This means that we have to make people thirsty to learn about Jesus. For example one of us was bold at school at sharing out faith and now two guys are curious and might come to youth group to check it out. We think being salty means not only speaking about your religion and beliefs, but your actions too.
How salty is your life right now?
How could you become more salty?
How are you showing others that you are salty?
How thirsty are you for God?
