BORN AGAIN
John 3:3 “Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” NIV
“Feels like I’m born again, Feels like I’m living, For the very first time, For the very first time.” – Third Day, “Born Again”
What if every day was the end of the beginning?
What if we arose every morning feeling like the powerful words of this song; restored and alive for the first time in Christ? Do you remember the day you were “born again”? How much excitement and purpose did you feel on that day? I have had the fortunate experience of a “reawakening” of my Faith in the recent couple years and embracing the excitement of those feelings, has led me to wonder why this shouldn’t or couldn’t be a daily occurrence? We, so often get overwhelmed by daily living that we aren’t really living, not for the purpose we have been spiritually born into, anyway; to be a firm, unmovable example of having our roots deeply planted in the Kingdom of God. As you rise each day, praise God for the opportunity to live again, for the very first time! Where will he lead you?
Heavenly Father, please give me the wisdom to face every new day knowing you have provided a rebirth in my spirit, and the courage to use that renewal for Your good purpose.
